What We're Looking For:
We are actively seeking a highly driven and experienced Education Consultant to join PT. eSTEP Global Resources in South Jakarta. This pivotal role focuses on growing our student base, specifically for our university counseling programs, by engaging directly with prospective students and their families. Crucially, the role also involves building and nurturing strategic partnerships with international schools and other educational institutions to expand our reach and program offerings across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a passion for international education, strong sales/business development acumen, and excellent relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment & Counseling:
Proactively identify and engage prospective students and their families interested in international education, with a strong emphasis on university admissions.
Provide expert and personalized university counseling, guiding students through the entire application process, including admissions strategy, essay coaching, application preparation, document review, and financial aid/scholarship guidance.
Conduct compelling presentations and consultations to effectively showcase the value of eSTEP's university counseling packages and other programs.
Achieve and exceed student enrollment targets for various programs.
Institutional Partnerships & Outreach:
Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and secure partnerships with international schools, local schools, and other educational institutions.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with school counselors, principals, and other key stakeholders within partner institutions.
Collaborate with partner institutions to develop and implement joint programs, workshops, and recruitment initiatives that benefit students and align with eSTEP's offerings.
Represent eSTEP at education fairs, workshops, and networking events.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Stay informed about trends in international education, university admissions, and the competitive landscape.
Contribute to the development of effective marketing and recruitment strategies.
Provide market insights and feedback to enhance eSTEP's program offerings and outreach efforts.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain accurate records of all student interactions and partnership activities in a CRM system.
Prepare regular reports on recruitment progress, partnership development, and market insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in education consulting, student recruitment, sales, or business development, preferably within the international education sector.
Demonstrable experience in university admissions counseling is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of international education systems, university admission processes, and higher education trends.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders (students, parents, school officials).
Proven track record of achieving sales or recruitment targets.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.
Willingness to travel locally and regionally for outreach activities and events.
